Chat Room Rules:

1 - No trolling, flaming or baiting of other chatters.

2 - No excessive profanity. Use of certain words = automatic kick. This channel is PG-13 (No F bombs or similar). We will intervene when chatters try to work around the bot.

3 - No Cyber sex (keep it in PM), Excessive Flooding, Bots, and/or Threats, or Channel Advertising unless granted permission.

4 - Using all caps to emphasize words or phrases on occasion is fine, but in any chatroom setting, using all caps all the time is considered yelling, and rude. Please refrain from doing so.

5 - Do not insult the channel leadership, rules, or chatters. Doing this open channel will result in removal. This also applies to radio show guests. The guests are kind enough to give us their time and we will be respectful.

6 - Attempting in anyway to hack, mass flood or otherwise disturb the normal channel operations will result in a permanent channel ban as well as notification of your IP to Legal authorities and possibly the pressing of charges, as this may be a federal, state and civil crime. Don't think just because it's a chat room that you can get away with attacks; you can and WILL be prosecuted.

7 - Harassment of any user will not be tolerated for any reason and will result in an immediate channel removal, without exception.

8 - Bots are not allowed on our channel. Running a Bot on #para-investigators will result in a channel ban. *NOTE - the only bot that should be run on this channel should be our own channel bot or approved bots only, which only moderators are allowed to run*

9 - Inappropriate nicks and/or conversation will be immediately halted or result in a kick and/or ban. Religion and politics are allowed as long as you can be mature and calm; if you cannot the conversation will be stopped and you will be asked to move on. If you decline, you will be removed. 

10 - Stats are allowed only in private chat and NOT for flirting or pickup reasons.

11 - Everyone likes colors, and colors are fun. Please don't abuse this option by choosing an extremely bright color. Not only does it blind our eyes, no one will be able to read what you type.

12 - Impersonating celebrities, or anyone in general, is not allowed. Doing so will result in being kicked and/or banned. Please don't bother to come in and say your Jason or Grant or any other TAPS staff; we can verify this easily.

13 - If you have a problem or issue with a chatter or need technical assistance, please do not hesitate to PM a moderator for help.

14 - Moderator decisions are final.

15 - No mini-opping. If a chatter is causing trouble, let the mod's handle it. It create's chaos if everyone tries to enforce the rules.

16 - Do not PM without permission granted.

17 - Mods work on a 3 warnings policy; rule breakers will be warned three times, two in private, one in public and if their actions continue they will be removed. Bans last 24 hours unless otherwise specified. Exceptions to this rule are at the moderators discretion for special circumstances.

* REMINDER: Although Darkness Radio does use the #para-investigators chatroom during the show, which we love, Dave himself does not own the room or involved with any internal chat situations. Please do not email him with any chat concerns. We have provided an email contact below. We will always try to be more than fair, and take any measures to your concern where we deem that we must act upon.
